It was our pleasure to take in this particular challenge to produce this period late a Victorian arched door & frame. It was part of a much larger complete refurbishment of the entire property which involved a combination of full replacement and refurbished sliding sash and flush casement windows. The client wanted us to replace a tired and poor replication door circa 1980’s with something that was as true to the original door as possible. Also, incorporating the highest standard of energy efficiency and security was also a key priority. After researching old photographs and land records from the local area we agreed a design with the client which looks stunning and if it wasn’t for the fresh paint, looked like it had always been there.
